Leslie and Sir James share the experience of losing a loved one. Will Leslie be the woman to break the curse? Or will she be just another victim.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

What can I tell this woman? Madam Galena thought as she looked at the cards. They point to no future, but not to death. Does that mean she’ll be in a coma? The cards about her past are clear. I can see the lost love. As for romance, a love will come into her life, and soon, but even that is strange. Leslie fidgeted in her seat, bringing Madam Galina’s attention back to her. “I am sorry it has taken me so long.”

“That’s okay,” Leslie said politely. Her face didn’t quite hide her agitation or her apprehension. “Stephanie said you were good. Maybe this is what she meant.”

“I am sorry if I have frightened you,” Galina apologized. “May I continue?”

“Yes.”

“I see a man coming into your life.” That much was true. “I see a promotion at work or possibly a change in your job. I see a change of residence.” She saw these things, but they were jumbled, so she lied or guessed, depending on how you looked at it. “And I see car trouble.”

“Everyone has car trouble sooner or later,” Leslie whispered. “A tall, dark stranger?” Leslie asked sardonically.

“Actually, yes, I know it sounds cliché, but there will be a tall man entering your life very soon. I can tell you things about your past if you like. Some of the things I have mentioned may have already happened. The cards indicate they have, but also that they will. Your future is not clear enough for me to say.” At least that is the truth.

“No, no that’s enough. How much do I owe you?”

Madam Galina looked at the cards again. In all her years of reading fortunes, this was the first that truly puzzled her. “For that reading I cannot charge you. I usually receive more information from the cards. I am sorry.” She shook her head. She was puzzled and could only hope that no harm would come to the young woman sitting across from her.

“You’re not charging me?”

“Well, if you want me to…” she said as she stood.

“No, that’s quite all right,” Leslie put the strap of her purse over her shoulder as she rose from the seat and moved toward the exit. She opened the door. “Fog,” she said as she stepped outside.

Madam Galina gasped and put her hand to her chest.

“Thank you,” Leslie said. She carefully stepped down and out of the wagon.

“Be careful,” Madam Galina said. She made the sign of the cross, blessing herself, and said a silent prayer.

Categories: Erotic Contemporary Romance (MF), HEA

BLURB:

Her friend talks her into trying an exciting new dating experience, the Anonymous Club, a place where a date is an adventure and fantasies can come true. One must choose an alias, and anonymity is guaranteed.

Andrew Martin is looking for a woman who can keep up with him outside of the bedroom as well as in bed. He tries the Anonymous Club with low expectations.

When Jennifer and Andrew meet, it is Chemistry 101. Have they found what they are looking for? In a world of aliases and mystery, is anyone really who they say they are? What happens when anonymity is good for one but not the other?

TEASER / EXCERPT:

“Joe, do we have to go through this again?” Andrew tried to control his temper. “I told you. I’m not interested.” He left the kitchen and plopped down on the sofa.

“You keep saying you want to find someone who can keep up with you in bed,” Joe said from the kitchen as he grabbed a fresh beer from the fridge.

“That’s not exactly what I said. I said I want someone who can keep up with me out of bed as well as in bed.” Andrew took a sip of his beer.

“Whatever,” Joe said as he sat down in the La-Z-Boy across from Andrew. “I’m telling you it’s worth it. In bed, out of bed, it was f**king amazing. They create these elaborate settings. It makes you feel like you’re really there. If nothing else you will appreciate that end of it.”

“Joe,” Andrew warned.

“Look, I’m going to badger you until you agree so why don’t you save us some time and energy and agree now. If you had a money problem, I’d let it go but you don’t, so—”

“Joe...” There was an edge in Andrew’s tone.

“Andy, you know how stubborn I can be.”

“And annoying.”

“Yeah that, too,” Joe said, lifting the bottle to his lips.

“And stupid.”

“Hey, now that’s going too far.”

“I’m sorry. I guess you’re right. I need to change something because I’m not getting anywhere this way.”

“I’m not saying you’ll find your dream girl, but it will be different.”

“A compound sentence or a relative thought from a female. That would be different.”

“I don’t have any trouble talking with women.”

“You”—Andrew pointed his beer at Joe—“need to take a look at your standards.”

BLURB:

The odds are against him, but Jerin will find a way! With or without the gene Kaley will be his…

On Setera, only one in four hundred thousand is born possessing the cryan gene—a gene essential to the survival of the Seteran race. Jerin and the others like him are duty bound to find the match to that gene somewhere in the universe, for it can no longer be found on Setera. With no clear instructions on how this task is to be accomplished it is a daunting undertaking, like finding a needle in a haystack.

Jerin’s assigned quadrant is Earth. After twelve years of searching he is beginning to lose hope, until the answer hits him over the head with a frying pan. Now all he has to do is convince this beautiful, feisty woman to follow him to another universe in a galaxy far far away.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

He should be insulted at her innuendo that he was inept at his job, but he wasn’t. She was a feisty little thing. Not so little he corrected himself. He longed to hold her to find out how well she fit next to his body. The women of Earth made him uneasy. When he touched them, he had to be mindful of their fragility. He had no doubt that Kaley was strong, her ability to wield that cast iron frying pan proved that. The thought of touching her, without fear of breaking her as he caressed her and became lost in passion, was intoxicating. He almost stepped forward to act on the desire.

He cleared his throat. “I am qualified,” he managed to say while in his mind’s eye he loosened her hair from its bonds.

She blushed as if the heat of his thoughts had touched her.

“In that case I will take my leave. Miss Sherwood, I trust you have our number? Don’t be afraid to use it should the need arise.”

The police officer gave Jerin a glance filled with warning and then made his way out of the door closing it behind him.

Minerva’s Mystic Museum is located in New York City. Every full moon the “powers that be” choose someone from the visitors of the museum. This someone, known as the mystic walker, will be the hero/heroine of the novel. The “powers” select someone they feel deserves a second chance, or just a chance to follow their destiny. Minerva, the curator and caretaker of the museum meets the chosen mystic walker. Through the magic that has been entrusted to her, Minerva supplies them with the opportunity to change their lives.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

From the shadows, Korina strained to see the man at the altar. The music sounded, and the strands of the wedding march filled the air.

“I guess it’s time,” she whispered.

“Having second thoughts?” her father asked.

“No…just scared.”

“I think you are being very brave. This is an outdated custom. It should be done away with.”

“Thank you for being willing to let me refuse. Knowing you care that much about me helps. Somehow it makes it easier.”

He nodded acknowledgement.

“They are waiting,” he said as he patted her hand.

“It’s showtime.”

Her father looked at her oddly. “What?”

“Nothing.” She felt her cheeks flush. She’d picked up that phrase in her exile.

Father and daughter stepped through the doorway.

All heads turned to look at the bride. Korina scanned the crowd. There was a small handful that she didn’t readily recognize but seemed vaguely familiar. Where were the guests from the groom’s side? Korina looked at the many expectant faces, faces she hadn’t seen in a long time. How she wanted to stop and talk to just about every one of them. She stomped down that urge. Her heart swelled, and she wanted to cry as contentment filled her. Beneath her veil, she smiled warmly. It didn’t matter that no one could see it.

By the time her father placed her hand into the hand of the groom, she had to close her eyes to stop the tears from falling.

That was the moment her fingers touched the skin of her betrothed. A wave of sensation passed through her body, warming her entire being and filling her with pleasure. The feeling lingered, yet when she opened her eyes, she had to fight to control the urge to jerk her hand away.

Korina focused on the eyes in the very homely, almost hideous face. Warm blue eyes, sensual eyes, eyes that suddenly looked hurt. Apparently, she hadn’t controlled the twitch of her hand as well as she’d thought. She squeezed his hand apologetically. His eyes registered his surprise. He seemed to be trying to see through the veil.

The priest called their attention to him. A hush fell over the room as the priest spoke the words that united her, body and soul, with a stranger.
