BLURB:
Rowena Milestone, corporate executive, has an accomplished career. Yet one thing eludes her. Try as she might she can’t seem to have an orgasm even though she likes sex. Her position in the corporate man’s world tends to intimidate her dates. They perform well enough in bed, but they just don’t push her over the edge, until she meets Stephen.

Stephen Sloan has a secret. He belongs to a very special, no holds barred, anything goes sex club. He never thought he’d meet anyone like Rowena there, so he wanted to believe her outrageous story that she didn’t know how she’d gotten there. When she disappeared without a trace he knew she’d been telling the truth. Now armed with three pieces of information he is determined to find her.

Rowena was devastated when the curator of the museum couldn’t help. Minerva had said, "If the universe is willing, he will come to you." Fat chance she has of that happening.

Here is the premise for the Mystic Museum Series

Minerva’s Mystic Museum is located in New York City. Every full moon the “powers that be” choose someone from the visitors of the museum. This someone, known as the mystic walker, will be the hero/heroine of the novel. The “powers” select someone they feel deserves a second chance, or just a chance to follow their destiny. Minerva, the curator and caretaker of the museum meets the chosen mystic walker. Through the magic that has been entrusted to her, Minerva supplies them with the opportunity to change their lives.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

The restraints were real. Ropes, chains, handcuffs, it added to the richness of the encounter. Some of the clientele just liked pain, but that wasn’t where his interests wandered. His pleasure came from straddling the fine lines between giving, receiving, and anticipating pleasure pain. The handcuffs, ropes, and chains weren’t required, although he’d learned most women wanted them. They seemed to heighten the level of the experience. The rooms were all the same, drab walls and sparse furnishings, which consisted of a brass bed, end tables, and a full bathroom. A small kitchen area containing a table and chairs and a very small refrigerator was also provided. The refrigerator was stocked with snack food and soft drinks. There was a cafeteria in the building. He would usually take a break between women there. Standing outside the door of the room he would use on this, his last night, he looked for the folder which normally contained the safe word and some of the preferences of the submissive partner. This was the first time there was no paperwork. He thought it odd, but it didn’t concern him. He would supply a safe word. During the time he’d been doing this he’d gained enough experience to be able to correctly read the submissive’s true feelings. If he happened to be off in his judgment there was always the safe word to protect both him and the submissive.

What would this woman be like? He longed to find someone he could connect with emotionally and intellectually. It would be nice if that person enjoyed this lifestyle. So far, he hadn’t met anyone he clicked with that way here in these rooms. He kept trying though. He was an optimist, and a believer in destiny.

He turned the doorknob and opened the door. The woman had asked to be shackled in the standing position. Her arms were above her head and her legs were spread. Her clothes were on hangers to keep them neat. That was unusual. She stood there in red stiletto heels that matched her nail polish and lipstick. Her black hair appeared unruffled. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him. He wore his usual black leather outfit.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

Set up for the teaser:  Adrian has arrived on Dulce Isle. Jon helps Adrian and takes him to Rosa’s villa. Rosa feels an immediate attraction to Adrian which was enhanced by Jon’s apparent attraction to Adrian.

Rosa paced the length of her bedroom. Nervous, pent-up sexual desire had her wide awake. Her negligee didn’t help her condition either. Silky as it was, it caressed her nipples, making them bud.

She looked at the small grandfather clock on the fireplace mantle. The pendulum swung to a precise rhythm. Eleven o’clock it chimed. Eleven wasn’t that late. She would pay Adrian a late-night visit. She rarely had sex with a man the first time she met him. Adrian was special. She was going to follow her instincts about this man.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

“How can I get out of here? I have to go back.” Her eyes darted, looking anywhere except at him. She seemed to realize she wasn’t where she had been, but she wasn’t afraid.

“You want to leave? After making love like that, you want to leave?” He couldn’t believe it. He wouldn’t believe it.

She looked at him. He could see desire and interest lingering in her eyes, a kind of primal need that matched his own. He was sure if the light was better, her complexion would be flushed deep pink with mortification. If being embarrassed was the problem, it would be easily fixed.

“Yes,” she said with little conviction.

“I don’t know. We can ask Sven. He may know. You’ll have to come with me so we can find out.” He jerked his head to the side, indicating the direction they should go. He waited a moment to gauge her reaction. She looked like a scared rabbit. Did she want to bolt?

It was a chance he had to take. Sometimes the only way to catch a fish is to give it some line. He turned and started to walk away. It was one of the most difficult things he’d done in his life.

Leslie and Sir James share the experience of losing a loved one. Will Leslie be the woman to break the curse? Or will she be just another victim.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

The next morning broke dank, dreary, and wet. Gone was the beautiful late-summer weather of the day before. And for the next three days, the rain made that day seem a dream.

Rose and Margaret kept themselves busy with their embroidery and knitting. Leslie, possessing neither of those skills, found the idle time frustrating. She was used to working. She never thought she would say it, but she missed the TV, she missed the Internet, she missed her phone. When had she become addicted to those things? Would she be able to get back to those things? Did she really want to get back to them? Her life in the future was not especially wonderful. She was lonely most of the time. Funny, she wasn’t lonely here. She felt like she was home here, like she belonged. She would be able to find something to do.

“Margaret, are there any books I could read?”

“There are books aplenty in James’s study. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if you borrowed one.” Margaret never looked up from her embroidery.

“Thanks,” she said as she left the room.

The study doors were closed, so Leslie knocked lightly. “May I come in?” she asked and waited.

No answer.

She knocked again, and then opened the door slightly. She saw James lost in thought standing by the French doors across the room. He was handsome, and her heart fluttered like a schoolgirl at the thought. She knocked again. “I’m sorry to bother you, but Margaret said I might find a book in here.” She stepped inside the very masculine room. Dark wood panels covered the walls. Books filled the shelves on two of the walls. The heavy drapery, used to help keep the drafts down around the French doors, was pulled back allowing ample light into the room.

“There are books, and you’re welcome to look, but I was wondering…Do you play chess?”

He seemed to be holding his breath waiting for her reply. His expression told her he wanted her to say yes. There was a hint of desperation in his eyes that said he needed her to say yes. “Actually I do. Are you challenging me to a game? Please challenge me to a game. I will go out of my mind if I can’t find something to do soon.”

“Since you put it that way, we simply must play.” The muscles in his face relaxed. The slightest bit of a smile hinted at the corners of his mouth.

“I warn you, I’m good.” Her voice held both challenge and confidence.

“We shall see.” That slight smile now became a grin.

ADULT TEASER / EXCERPT:
She watched his naked body with his tight ass gently rippling disappear into the bathroom. Now that is a pleasant sight, she thought.

The water in the sink turned on. She picked up her blouse and used the back of the chair as a hanger for her jacket. She picked up his pants and used the other chair the same way. She laid his underwear and T-shirt on top. She fastened her bra and donned her blouse, leaving it unbuttoned, but she did tuck it in. The floor was cold, so she slipped the shoes on.

“Good. You’re still here,” he said. “I thought I might have dreamed it.”

“No dream,” she said as she passed him on the way to the bathroom, “just Cocheta.” That was her way of saying she couldn’t believe it either. She knew he would understand because they had that kind of connection.
