Carolyn’s dormant sexuality is awakened by three handsome shape-shifters. Jacob, caring and nurturing, lures her into his world. Milo, impetuous and rough, awakens unknown desire. Sven, cold and reserved, tests her mettle. Will she choose to walk on the wild side with the wolf pack and become their female? Will she be able to convince Sven that she is worthy and should be given the opportunity to join the pack? Will Sven’s fear of losing another mate destroy the future of the pack? Or will Carolyn choose to return to the normal life she’d come to see as her due?

Here is the premise for the Mystic Museum Series

Minerva’s Mystic Museum is located in New York City. Every full moon the “powers that be” choose someone from the visitors of the museum. This someone, known as the mystic walker, will be the hero/heroine of the novel. The “powers” select someone they feel deserves a second chance, or just a chance to follow their destiny. Minerva, the curator and caretaker of the museum meets the chosen mystic walker. Through the magic that has been entrusted to her, Minerva supplies them with the opportunity to change their lives.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

“I’m not used to having men around. At least not guys like you.” She looked from one to the other.

“Guys like us?” Jacob asked. His tone was light and joking.

Her face flushed. “There is so much testosterone in this place I can barely breathe…I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that.” Her cheeks flamed.

“Why not?” Jacob asked. A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

“Are you playing with me?” Her trepidation was beginning to disappear.

“Oh, you have no idea how I’d like to play with you,” Jacob said.

She heard Milo growl. The rosy hue on her cheeks deepened. She felt the heat of it. “Are you trying to embarrass me in front of Milo?”

“I’m sure Milo would like to play with you, too,” Jacob teased. He looked at her with a building heat.

“Damn straight,” Milo agreed. Milo looked at her. Blatant desire raged in his gaze.

Leslie and Sir James share the experience of losing a loved one. Will Leslie be the woman to break the curse? Or will she be just another victim.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

The next morning broke dank, dreary, and wet. Gone was the beautiful late-summer weather of the day before. And for the next three days, the rain made that day seem a dream.

Rose and Margaret kept themselves busy with their embroidery and knitting. Leslie, possessing neither of those skills, found the idle time frustrating. She was used to working. She never thought she would say it, but she missed the TV, she missed the Internet, she missed her phone. When had she become addicted to those things? Would she be able to get back to those things? Did she really want to get back to them? Her life in the future was not especially wonderful. She was lonely most of the time. Funny, she wasn’t lonely here. She felt like she was home here, like she belonged. She would be able to find something to do.

“Margaret, are there any books I could read?”

“There are books aplenty in James’s study. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if you borrowed one.” Margaret never looked up from her embroidery.

“Thanks,” she said as she left the room.

The study doors were closed, so Leslie knocked lightly. “May I come in?” she asked and waited.

No answer.

She knocked again, and then opened the door slightly. She saw James lost in thought standing by the French doors across the room. He was handsome, and her heart fluttered like a schoolgirl at the thought. She knocked again. “I’m sorry to bother you, but Margaret said I might find a book in here.” She stepped inside the very masculine room. Dark wood panels covered the walls. Books filled the shelves on two of the walls. The heavy drapery, used to help keep the drafts down around the French doors, was pulled back allowing ample light into the room.

“There are books, and you’re welcome to look, but I was wondering…Do you play chess?”

He seemed to be holding his breath waiting for her reply. His expression told her he wanted her to say yes. There was a hint of desperation in his eyes that said he needed her to say yes. “Actually I do. Are you challenging me to a game? Please challenge me to a game. I will go out of my mind if I can’t find something to do soon.”

“Since you put it that way, we simply must play.” The muscles in his face relaxed. The slightest bit of a smile hinted at the corners of his mouth.

“I warn you, I’m good.” Her voice held both challenge and confidence.

“We shall see.” That slight smile now became a grin.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

Adult Teaser:

“I haven’t seen you for a few days. How did Saturday night go?”

“I think I have the worst luck.”

“What do you mean? You didn’t have a good time?”

“Good time? I had the best time of my life. The woman was fucking amazing. As soon as I walked in the room, I got a boner. She was drop-dead gorgeous, glasses and all.”

“What scenario?”

“The Librarian.”

“It figures, you would go for that.”

“Yeah, but she was actually smart and funny and…”

“And what?”

“And the way she responded to me…” He trailed off, remembering how she felt. “She was the best lay I ever had.”

“Now that’s saying something. So when do you see her again?”

“Didn’t you hear me when I said I have the worst luck?”

“What happened?”

“She walked out on me. She didn’t want to see me outside of Anonymous.”

“But she’ll see you again in there, right?”

“Well, so far she hasn’t blackballed me. I’ve checked every day. I greased the few palms so when she sets up another “adventure” they’ll let me know what it is and when it is. I really want to see this woman again.”

“You usually get what you want, so don’t worry about it.” Joe put his hand on his friend’s shoulder.

“She’s different. She makes me feel…”

“Shit. I think you’re in love,” Joe said as he squeezed and then half-heartedly punched his friends shoulder.

“That’s not funny.”

“You’re telling me,” Joe agreed.

“No, I’m serious. I’ve never been affected by a woman like this. I can’t stop thinking about her. I keep reliving that night. She smelled so goddamn good. She tasted like…”

“You’ve got it bad.”

“I know. Now all I have to do is give it to her.
