AUTHOR BIO:
Originally from Yorkshire, I am now lucky enough to be living in County Down, Northern Ireland. Since moving here I feel most at home outside, surrounded by the cathartic cathedral like silence that descends in the woodlands, along the Loch sides, and abandoned quarries. It was here I felt the impetus to write.

As well as a writer I am a working mother of four fantastically charming yet quirky children, it's always a pleasure watching them grow and their wee personalities develop. My formal education consists of average GCSE results and four A levels. It wasn't until the age of eighteen that we discovered I was dyslexic, with a little extra help from my family I have never let it hold me back.

BANTER – STUFF ABOUT YOU

Q: What kind of music do you listen to? Do you have an all time favorite song?
A: Music is like....my daily life line! I can't function without it. I suppose my taste is really eclectic my go-to band would be Foo Fighters but I also like to support the local music scene if anyone ever gets chance google....Milloy. I Love em' so melodic but with a a real bite.

Q: Tell me one thing that your spouse does that really endears him/her to you. One thing that annoys you. These can be tiny little things, actually the smaller the better.
A: My husband is a chef...so that kinda' answers both! He is amazing in the kitchen, anything I want he can make it but that means that he is used to a kitchen porter tidying up after him......and at home, that’s me.

Q: Coffee or Tea?
A: I can not live without Coffee!!! ( see how it warranted a capital there). I work night shifts and with four tiny humans to care for Coffee and I have a necessary relationship.

BOOKS – ABOUT THE CRAFT

Q: When did you start writing and why?
A: I have always loved writing and talked for years about doing something.... but I suppose a lack of self confidence held me back. Then since coming to live in N. Ireland I felt surrounded by this otherworldly charm and  started to think, maybe I could give it a voice. The day I sat down to write I had no idea what I was doing, but when I started it all  flooded out and kind of carried me along with it.

Q: How did you come to write your genre of choice?
A: I never sat down and thought I am going to write a fantasy novel....for me it just happened quite organically,  I guess it reflects my love of thegenera that I felt most at home there. I do however have a thing for Agatha Christy and would love to sit down and plan out some amazingly elaborate plot to confound my audience.....maybe one day.

Q: Who's your favorite author?
A: Would...... hands down have to be Stephen King. I know people often have this thing where byif something is popularized then its unrefined. I remember my sister filling in forms to go to university so study Literature and her lecturer told her take the King quote out people wont take you seriously! So because he wasn't some obscurefinancially deprived writer that would diminish his skill? She put the quote in, got into every Uni she applied to and now has the quote tattooed on her fore arm. Sorry rant over!!

Q: Do you always know how a story will end when you begin writing it?
A: I still have no idea how this story will end (it being the first of three in total planned) I have ruff idea, but when I start writing I'll put one of my guys...characters in a certain situation and think to my self I know where this is going....then it doesn't at all turn out I needed it to...which often ruins my plans further down the line.

BOOKS - NOW LETS PROMOTE – STRUT YOUR STUFF

Q: What are you working on now? Would you like to share anything about it?
A: I am currently working on the second book in this series and am so excited about where it's going....another mixed narrative so keeps you on your toes!!

Q: Do you have a new book coming out soon? Tell us about it.
A:Yes...Inheritance. It's my first novel and has been my constant over the past few years. I'd describe it as a dark fantasy with a bit of something for everyone, even if you’re not normally keen on the genre.

Q: How can we find you? Do you have a web page, FaceBook page or any buy links?
A:  Yes, I do. Here are the links.
