Q: SO TELL US
A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF, PEGPERSON PAT…
PP:
Well, I’m just a little fellow, a pretty average perperson. I enjoy cookouts, cruises around the baby
pool, and mowing the lawn with my best friend Tractor. Oh, and I have a sweet A-frame. It’s a pretty good life. Did I mention the sweet A-frame?
Q: WHAT WAS IT LIKE SEE THE SUPERHEROES FOR THE
FIRST TIME?
PP:
It was incredible. They were so, so, so
super! With capes and accessories! It was like a bigger playroom was opened up
in my house. I knew that I had to be
just like them, that my old life was too ordinary. Even the A-frame didn’t seem so sweet
anymore.
Q: DID YOU LEARN ANYTHING FROM TRYING TO FIT IN
WITH THEM?
PP:
Sure. I learned that you have to be
yourself. You can still be friends with other folks even if you’re not exactly
like them. Oh, and your best accessory
is a good friend. It’s corny but true.
Q: ANY LAST WORDS?
PP:
I just want to say hello to my oldest friend Tractor. You got me through it old fellow. We’ll keep
mowing the lawn forever!

John Fredericks has been writing and drawing since he could hold a
pencil. (His mom's still mad about that wallpaper in Pottsville.)
