Minerva’s
Mystic Museum is located in New York City. Every full moon the “powers that be”
choose someone from the visitors of the museum. This someone, known as the
mystic walker, will be the hero/heroine of the novel. The “powers” select
someone they feel deserves a second chance, or just a chance to follow their
destiny. Minerva, the curator and caretaker of the museum meets the chosen
mystic walker. Through the magic that has been entrusted to her, Minerva
supplies them with the opportunity to change their lives.
TEASER / EXCERPT:
Set up for the teaser: Rowena finds herself in a special “club.” She has no idea how she got there or what kind of place it is.
“Stephen, please don’t do this,” she pleaded as he put the blindfold over her eyes. “Stephen!” she shouted in a panic.
“It will be okay, baby. Just don’t try to take it off. You will make it really hard on yourself if you do. They want you blindfolded for their own reasons. Don’t give them an excuse to punish you.”
“More spanking?” she asked, horrified.
“Spanking, or worse. They may prefer the crop or the whip. We all know how to use them in a way that won’t break the skin. Just to let you know, it stings like hell. It makes my spanking feel like a caress.” He kissed her cheek. “I will try to get myself scheduled for later. Maybe I can do a trade. Remember your safe word.” He kissed her again and touched her hair. “Try to relax.”
She heard the door open and close. “Stephen!” she screamed. “Please don’t leave me.”
