BLURB:
Jennifer Hartstrum has trouble with men. Her relationship with an abusive father left her with a speech impediment that flares up only when she dates. Her friend talks her into trying an exciting new dating experience, the Anonymous Club, a place where a date is an adventure and fantasies can come true. One must choose an alias, and anonymity is guaranteed.

Andrew Martin is looking for a woman who can keep up with him outside of the bedroom as well as in bed. He tries the Anonymous Club with low expectations.

When Jennifer and Andrew meet, it is Chemistry 101. Have they found what they are looking for? In a world of aliases and mystery, is anyone really who they say they are? What happens when anonymity is good for one but not the other?

TEASER / EXCERPT:

“Done,” the woman said as she stood back to survey her handiwork.

Jennifer stood and allowed herself to look in the mirror. “Is that really me?”

“Yep, all you,” the woman answered.

Her light brown hair was up in a French twist. The woman had added some temporary highlights so it looked really nice. The makeup was tastefully done. She wore a white blouse under a charcoal-gray suit. The suit was really short and way too tight as far as she was concerned, but she had to admit it showed off her ass nicely. The stiletto heels were a little uncomfortable, but she would manage for one night. And wonder upon wonder, they allowed her to wear her own glasses.

The woman handed her the prep card about the room. “Follow me,” she said. “You are to be in the room when your partner arrives.” Jennifer looked at the card. Tonight his name was Ace.

All of the rooms provided bathrooms and a bed. The bed in this room was an automated pull down hidden behind a wall of fake books. The bathroom, like all the others, had a toilet, sink, and stall shower. She looked at the paperwork. Condoms could be found in a number of easily accessible places, as they had been in the last three scenarios. There was a sofa against a wall and a heavy, old-fashioned, oak wood table with two matching chairs in the center of the room. Two bookcases created two aisles, and there were actual books on them. She was standing at the end of one of those aisles leafing through a book when the door opened.
