“What happened?”

“But she’ll see you again in there, right?”
“Well, so far she hasn’t blackballed me. I’ve
checked every day. I greased the few palms so when she sets up another
“adventure” they’ll let me know what it is and when it is. I really want to see
this woman again.”
“You usually get what you want, so don’t
worry about it.” Joe put his hand on his friend’s shoulder.
“She’s different. She makes me feel…”
“Shit. I think you’re in love,” Joe said as
he squeezed and then half-heartedly punched his friends shoulder.
“That’s not funny.”
“You’re telling me,” Joe agreed.
“No, I’m serious. I’ve never been affected by
a woman like this. I can’t stop thinking about her. I keep reliving that night.
She smelled so goddamn good. She tasted like…”
“You’ve got it bad.”
“I know. Now all I have to do is give it to
her.”
