BLURB:
Rowena Milestone, corporate executive, has an accomplished career. Yet one thing eludes her. Try as she might she can’t seem to have an orgasm even though she likes sex. Her position in the corporate man’s world tends to intimidate her dates. They perform well enough in bed, but they just don’t push her over the edge, until she meets Stephen.

Stephen Sloan has a secret. He belongs to a very special, no holds barred, anything goes sex club. He never thought he’d meet anyone like Rowena there, so he wanted to believe her outrageous story that she didn’t know how she’d gotten there. When she disappeared without a trace he knew she’d been telling the truth. Now armed with three pieces of information he is determined to find her.

Rowena was devastated when the curator of the museum couldn’t help. Minerva had said, "If the universe is willing, he will come to you." Fat chance she has of that happening.

Here is the premise for the Mystic Museum Series

Minerva’s Mystic Museum is located in New York City. Every full moon the “powers that be” choose someone from the visitors of the museum. This someone, known as the mystic walker, will be the hero/heroine of the novel. The “powers” select someone they feel deserves a second chance, or just a chance to follow their destiny. Minerva, the curator and caretaker of the museum meets the chosen mystic walker. Through the magic that has been entrusted to her, Minerva supplies them with the opportunity to change their lives.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

“First, let me assure you. We have to master and control all the things that are on these walls. We are not allowed to seriously injure anyone. Drawing blood is forbidden.”

“That makes me feel so much better,” she said sarcastically.

“Would you like a demonstration?” He moved to the wall. He took a whip in his hand.

“A demonstration is not necessary. I’ll take your word for it.” She pulled the sheet up to her chest. She couldn’t manage to keep the fear from her expression.

He gave her a sour look. “I’m not going to use this on you.”

“Oh.” She gave a tentative smile. “I thought…”

“You told me you were afraid, even terrified of the whip. Why would I use it on you?” Exasperation filled his tone.

“Because you can,” she said, her courage returning. “You made that quite clear earlier.”

“I thought I made more than that clear. This is a pleasure room, not a torture chamber. I thought you would have figured that out by now.” He frowned at her. His voice expressed his disappointment.

She felt chastised as if she were a child. “I have,” she whispered. Her cheeks flamed, she closed her eyes. “It’s just…”

“Open your eyes,” he snapped. “You have to see to believe.”

He lit three candles.

“What are you going to do?”

“Prove to you once and for all this will not hurt you.” He shook the whip in his hand. He loosened the whip from his fingertips and flipped it so its full serpentine length spread before him. The flames from the three candles flickered. “Would you like the lights on or off for the test? I can do this either way. I’m not quite good enough blindfolded yet, but I’m working on it.” He smiled.

He seemed proud of what he was about to do. “It doesn’t matter. You choose.” She had no idea of what to expect.

He flicked the whip. One of the candle flames was extinguished. The snap made her jump and gasp in surprise. Her astonishment must’ve shown in her face. He smiled. He seemed to enjoy her shock. He flipped the whip two times in rapid succession. The remaining flames were extinguished.

“Oh my God,” she breathed. “You didn’t even touch the wax.”

“So, you noticed.” He seemed pleased with himself. He gathered up the whip and put it in its place on the wall.

“I noticed.” The words were filled with awe.

“Doubting my abilities has hurt my feelings. How are you going to make it up to me?” His eyes swept over her body. They were dark and hungry.

She felt her body flush in response, and a quick jolt of excitement was awakening her nether region. “Take your clothes off and lie down. I’ll think of something.” She patted the bed next to her. She tried to give him a sexy and inviting smile.

He removed his clothes, never taking his eyes off of her. She ran her tongue over her lips before she sucked on the lower one. Stephen’s very muscular, taut frame slid into the bed next to her. Rowena straddled his hips. She eyed the handcuffs and leaned forward, reaching for them. He caught her wrist just before she could touch them.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

“You have servants. Don’t they do the grocery shopping for you?” Adrian asked.

“Yes, they do, but sometimes I want to go to the market. I like to keep things real. It’s easy to forget that there are people in need when you don’t need or want for anything. I go to the market to keep things in perspective.” She put a box of cereal into the basket she was pushing. “It doesn’t matter whether or not I need anything I put into this basket. I like to shop…It brings back memories of the days when I had to worry about everything I put into my basket.

“After Leon died, I was very lonely. One day I was walking through this store. I saw a mother with three little children. One was an infant in her arms, another wasn’t walking yet, and still in diapers. The third was walking, but was very small, just a toddler.

“I watched that poor woman agonize over everything she put into her basket. She was a new face to me. She didn’t recognize me either. My heart went out to her. I couldn’t imagine what she must have felt like, needing so many things and having to do without most of them, especially since it was her little ones that were suffering.

“The children had no idea they were doing without, but I did, and I decided to change it.

“Sometimes people don’t like to accept charity. Their pride gets in the way. I didn’t want that to happen with this woman, so I approached her and pretended I was doing a survey for food brokers. I asked her to fill my carriage with anything she wanted to buy, whether she could afford it or not. She wanted to know which company I represented. I told her I’d been instructed not to divulge that information because they didn’t want to prejudice her shopping one way or the other. I told her she would be given a gift certificate for the store after checking out.

“It was amazing how easily she filled my basket. She was still very careful about what she put into hers. At one point I asked her if she was randomly selecting things for my carriage, just to be putting something into it. She assured me that if she could, she would buy every single item she was putting in there.

“We got to the register. I made sure she checked out after me. I purchased her gift certificate. After she finished paying for her purchases, I gave her the gift certificate and the carriage full of groceries. At first she wouldn’t take them. I told her they went along with the survey. She looked at the bags holding everything she wanted to buy. There was a second of hesitation before she accepted with tears filling her eyes.

“I felt so good that day. Knowing I helped someone made me feel like life was worth living again. Leon always donated to charities, and I continue to do so, but that day was special. I come here and shop, and then donate my purchases to the homeless and hungry, or to families struggling to make ends meet. People recognize me now, so I don’t get to surprise the people I help anymore. It doesn’t matter…I remember that satisfied feeling, just as I remember what it was like to be poor and hungry. Doing the shopping myself makes it personal for me.”

Adrian leaned into her and squeezed her shoulder. “You are a remarkable woman.”

Will she be able to convince Sven that she is worthy and should be given the opportunity to join the pack? Will Sven’s fear of losing another mate destroy the future of the pack? Or will Carolyn choose to return to the normal life she’d come to see as her due?

Here is the premise for the Mystic Museum Series

Minerva’s Mystic Museum is located in New York City. Every full moon the “powers that be” choose someone from the visitors of the museum. Minerva, the curator and caretaker of the museum meets the chosen mystic walker. Through the magic that has been entrusted to her, Minerva supplies them with the opportunity to change their lives.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

Sven had just about as much as he could take. The guys were breaking his balls about being clumsy. They teased him about spending a lot of time with Carolyn. The woman treated him like an invalid. Two days he’d been stuck in this cabin with her while the guys went on their rounds. Today he was getting out of this God damned bed whether she liked it or not.

He could barely stand it anymore. Her scent filled each breath, torturing him. She moved around the cabin efficiently and gracefully. She was a delight to watch. She was pleasing to his eyes. He liked her body and her face. She wasn’t beautiful, nor was she overly endowed. She was just perfect. It was becoming difficult to control his desire for her. Heaven help him, he wanted her. There was no doubt in his mind about that. His body reacted to her slightest touch. The tension between them was thick as molasses and just as sweet.

His feet touched the floor just as the soft tapping warned of the door opening.

“And just where do you think you’re going?” Her tone was accusing, that of someone accustomed to chastising errant patients.

“I’m getting up. I can’t stand lying around anymore.” He thought he sounded whiney like a spoiled child.

“So you’re feeling better and you’re bored?” She closed the door behind her.

There was something in the inflection of her voice that warned him he was missing something. He studied her for a moment trying to figure out what it was. It eluded him. So he pushed on. “Yes,” he said, locking onto her eyes, his challenge in the air.

A smile played on her lips. “Good.”

Not the answer he was expecting. He was expecting the mother hen to argue. “Good?” He felt his eyebrows rise, expressing his surprise.

“Oh, yes. I’m quite bored myself. Now that you’re feeling better, I can give in to these unruly urges I’ve been battling.”

“What urges?”

Leslie and Sir James share the experience of losing a loved one. Will Leslie be the woman to break the curse? Or will she be just another victim.

TEASER / EXCERPT:

James took her hand in his. “The pleasure is all mine,” he said as he raised her hand to his lips and lightly kissed the back of it.

A kiss on the back of the hand, she thought. Kudos to him, he just earned her attention. She returned her hand to the warmth of the blanket. “I’m lucky you came along,” she said. She suppressed a shiver.

“Yes, quite. I’m very late tonight. I had a lot to finish up in town today. I will be home for two weeks. I didn’t want any loose ends while I’m away from the office. If not for that, I would have been home much earlier.”

“Where is home?”

“Winford Manor.”

“Of course, James Winford,” she managed to get out just before the carriage went over a bump that had her clinging to the seat for support and catching her breath. “Geez,” she complained softly.

“There, do you see the lights?” Sir James raised his hand and pointed into the fog.

She did and she didn’t. The fog seemed to be glowing up ahead. But it didn’t look like lights to her. “Sort of,” she answered. She kept a death grip on the side of the carriage, bracing herself for another jarring jolt.

“We’ll be there soon,” he said and flicked the reins. “Get up now.”

The horses didn’t increase their speed. That was okay with her. The road was bumpy and the seat was hard.

The carriage came to a halt in front of the manor. The stableboy ran out to lead the horses away. “Good evening, Sir James,” he said. He stood there holding the halter of the horse nearest to him, struggling to catch his breath after the run he’d just made.

“Good evening, Bobby,” Sir James replied. “Take good care of them. They had a hard time of it tonight,” Sir James said as he got out of the rig. He went to the boy and ruffled his hair.

“Yes, sir.” The boy looked up at Sir James. His face was smudged.

“And then get some hot chocolate from Cook for yourself.” He squeezed the boy’s shoulder.

“Yes, sir,” Bobby replied smiling. He put his cap on his head. He waited patiently for the carriage to be empty.

“Let me help you down.” Sir James offered her his hand. He looked at Leslie’s feet. “Strange shoes,” he thought out loud. “Pants?” He cleared his throat to cover his shock. “Odd, but not unheard of,” he added in a mumble.

Leslie stepped out of the carriage and Bobby led it away. She and Sir James moved toward the manor.

The butler opened the door. “Good evening,” he said.

“Barkley, please tell Cook we have company, and I should like some tea. Is my mother about?”

“Yes, sir, Lady Margaret is in the parlor.”

“Good, bring the tea there, and some brandy,” he said as he took off his top coat and hat. He handed them to the butler.
