BANTER – STUFF ABOUT YOU

Q: Tell me one thing about each of the four seasons you like. It can be anything.
A:        Winter = nothing. I don’t like it at all!
Spring            = seeing plants start to grow again
Summer = sunshine and longer days
            Fall = pumpkin pie

Q: When you think of a garden, do you picture vegetables or flowers?
A: Flowers, really. I’m not much of a gardener, nor do I enjoy it, but I do like my garden to look nice and to be tidy. It’s done really well this year and is looking pretty good!

Q: Bedtime, relaxing so you can sleep sounds. Is your preference, white noise, TV, soft music, ocean waves, forest or meadow sounds, babbling brook, or something else?
A: Doesn’t matter. As long as there are no loud, annoying noises going on, like thumping music, revving cars or barking dogs, I can get to sleep. Much to the annoyance of my other half, who can get to sleep, but has trouble staying asleep.

Q: What kind of music do you listen to? Do you have an all time favorite song?
A: I have completely bonkers taste in music. I’m really not into modern music at all. Some of my favourite stuff is 70s music, like ABBA, The BeeGees, The Beach Boys, disco music, etc. I also like pop, rock, stuff I can sing along to. I like the British band McFly and Queen. I don’t have an all time favourite song, I don’t think. I like lots of songs. My playlist vary from cheesy pop to heavy metal!
Q: Did you like school when you were a child?
A: It depended on the lesson, really. I always loved English as a lesson, and was very lucky to have some amazing teachers. I quite liked science, history and French, but despised maths and P.E. So overall, school was okay, but it would have been better without maths and P.E.!

BOOKS – ABOUT THE CRAFT

Q: Do you write long hand first, or does it go straight into the computer?
A: Mostly I write directly onto the computer. But occasionally I’ll take a notebook somewhere and start scribbling away. Most often, I’ll make a start on a new story when I’m chilling out before bed, maybe writing 300 words or so. Then I’ll type that up the next day and just carry on getting some words down on the screen.

Q: Are you a sit down and play it by ear kind of writer, or do you need a structured guideline, or maybe a little of both?
A: It usually depends on the length of the story. For a short story or a novella, I generally just play it by ear. For novels I tend to have some kind of plan, because it’s easier to forget things, or go off on a tangent. Having said that, my characters sometimes decide to stray away from the plan… but I tend to let them get on with it, because they tend to know best.

Q: When crafting the story do you go from beginning to end, or do you jump around writing the scenes that are pushing themselves forward in your brain?
A: I always go from beginning to end. The only time I ever jump ahead is if I suddenly have a great idea for the ending line of something.

Q: Do you always know how a story will end when you begin writing it?
A: Nope, not at all. Sometimes I don’t even know how a book is going to end until it ends. LOL.

BOOKS - NOW LETS PROMOTE – STRUT YOUR STUFF

Q: What are you working on now? Would you like to share anything about it?
A: I’m currently working on an erotic romance novella which I’m hoping will be included in a boxed set from several authors. I’ve literally only just started it, so there’s not much to say at this stage, other than it’s about an older man/younger woman and is set in the Peak District, in England.

Q: Do you have a new book coming out soon? Tell us about it.
A: I have a new book coming out tomorrow! Sated is a M/F/M paranormal erotic story, featuring a human, a vampire and a werewolf. It was originally released as part of Totally Bound Publishing’s Wild After Dark anthology, and is due for release tomorrow as a standalone title.

Q: How can we find you? Do you have a web page, FaceBook page or any buy links?
A: Sure. My links are as follows:

Q: Are you currently participating in a blog tour? If you are let’s tell everyone where you’re going to be so they can catch up with you again.

Blurb:
A human, a vampire and a werewolf walked into a bar. Sexy is what happens next.
Since getting together with her vampire boyfriend, Ace, Aneesa is enjoying a sex life she could never have with a human. Ace has skill, strength, stamina…and is massively adventurous. Aneesa is checking things off her sexual bucket list at a rate of knots. However, she hasn’t even come close to experiencing the ultimate item on her list. So when Ace beats her to it, proposing a threesome with his werewolf friend, Barton, Aneesa’s definitely up for it.

Barton is attractive, smart and sexy—almost too good to be true, in fact. Aneesa decides not to jump straight into things, but makes sure it’s what she truly wants. However, it turns out Barton’s not so easily dissuaded.

Will Aneesa get the ultimate erotic experience she’s desired for so long? Will she be truly sated, or is the plan doomed to failure?

Excerpt:
A human, a vampire and a werewolf walked into a bar. Sounds like the start of a bad joke. I can assure you it isn’t. And telling you that, actually, the human and the vampire walked into the bar together, and found the werewolf already there, probably doesn’t make it sound any better. Well tough, because that’s the way it went down.

Ace and I met at a Halloween fancy dress party. I know, I know—cliché of clichés. And yes, he was dressed as a vampire—Albeit a horrendously exaggerated one—all slicked-back hair, über pale skin and visible fangs. In real life, he actually looks no different to you or I. Okay, he is a bit pale. But at the time, I’d laughed at him and asked if he thought vampires weren’t a bit overdone—it was when Twilight was at the height of its popularity—all angsty teens and stalkerish behavior.

He’d laughed right back, a joyous, melodious sound that had heat pooling in my groin—then as suddenly as it had arrived, his mirth disappeared. Then he’d said, “Overdone or not, we’re here to stay. And I don’t fucking sparkle.”

My heart had been pounding, and my mouth had gone dry. Somehow, I’d known he wasn’t joking. And, although my conscious brain had shut down, my subconscious had had my back, because I’d heard myself say, “Well, thank fuck for that, because I’ve never been a fan of glitter.”

He’d laughed again, the sound tugging at my very core. And—apologies for yet another cliché—we’ve been together ever since.

Several years later and we’re still as madly in love as ever, and still fucking like rabbits. Sex with a vampire is everything you’d expect it to be—energetic, powerful, finessed, mind-blowing and packed with stamina. Providing you can keep up, that is.

In addition to our unquenchable lust for each other, Ace and I have engaged in bondage, sex toys, spanking, anal, pegging—almost an A to Z of things to do in bed. Some we’ve tried and discarded, others have been a regular part of our sexual repertoire.

And yet, our latest adventure was the most exciting yet. You see, after mine and Ace’s initial meeting, I was given an almighty education in everything it meant to be a vampire. Myths were dispelled, other beliefs were confirmed—he definitely didn’t sparkle—and yet more things I’d never even thought of were seared into my brain.

So when Ace announced he had a friend who was a werewolf, I didn’t even bat an eyelid. It was the follow up information that surprised me.

“He wants to what?” The tone of my voice by the end of the sentence was so high that probably only dogs could hear me. And yet it was genuine surprise, rather than disapproval, that fuelled my reaction.

Raising his eyebrows, Ace gave me that sexy smirk that always gets my blood pounding through my veins and my pussy aching to be filled. “You heard me, Aneesa. My friend Barton would like to screw you. With me present, of course, and actively taking part.”

“A th-threesome?” I stumbled over the word—not because I was horrified. Quite the opposite, in fact. Being fucked by two hot guys at once had long been on my sexual bucket list—a list that, since meeting Ace, had had items checked off it at a rate of knots. I was going to have to start thinking of some more shit to put on it. I was way too young to have completed my bucket list—sexual or not—for Christ’s sake!

Catherine Peace ~ an interview and her novel ~ Gemini

I AM PLEASED TO WELCOME AUTHOR
Catherine Peace

BANTER – STUFF ABOUT YOU
Q: Are you a morning person, or a midnight candle burner?
A: Recently, I’ve had to become somewhat of a morning person because I changed jobs and shifts. Getting to work at 7am instead of 3pm has been a huge adjustment.

Q: Tell me one thing about each of the four seasons you like. It can be anything.
A:        Winter = Hot chocolate
            Spring            = Baseball!
            Summer = Swimming
            Fall = FOOTBALL

Q: If you could morph into any creature what would it be?
 A: A DRAGON.
If you don’t mind me asking, why?
A: Because dragons are awesome and powerful and breathe fire. ^_^

Q: What kind of music do you listen to? Do you have an all time favorite song?
A: I listen to a lot of hard rock and alternative, though I also really like folk. (I feel like Mumford & Sons is the best of both worlds sometimes). My all-time favorite song ever is Shimmer by Fuel.

BOOKS – ABOUT THE CRAFT
Q: When did you start writing and why?
A: When I was in 4th grade, we had to do a writing portfolio that included a short story. From that point on, I was hooked.

Q: How did you come to write your genre of choice?
A: My dad has always been a huge science fiction/fantasy fan and shared that with me. We watched Star Wars every Christmas (every time it was on, really), and any awesome-looking movie that came out. So when I started writing, I gravitated toward the more fantastical ideas.

Q: Which of your own releases was your particular favorite?
A: It’s really a tie between Ember’s Secret and Gemini. I’m so beyond proud of those works.

Q: Have your characters ever taken the story in a different direction than you had originally planned? Do you have a for instance, for us?
A: All the time. In Gemini, my antagonist actually made it happen. Because I didn’t realize she was such a big piece of the puzzle, and because of her, I went from having a dual-story novel to a four-book series.

Q: Do you like to read the genre that you write?
A: Omg all the time. I LOVE reading speculative fiction. I read a lot more contemporary than I used to, but speculative fiction is where my heart is.

BOOKS - NOW LETS PROMOTE – STRUT YOUR STUFF

A: I’m actually working on the sequel to Ember’s Secret, my paranormal romance with wereswans. Amy’s Hunt is in the hands of my crit partner, so hopefully it’ll be in the world soon. I’m also busy outlining Gemini2, Wereswans book 3, and a YA project.

Q: Do you have a new book coming out soon? Tell us about it.
A: Not yet, but soon! (I hope.) Gemini just released June 16th.

Q: How can we find you? Do you have a web page, FaceBook page or any buy links?
A: Oh yes. Here’s everything:

About Gemini:

Being one of the Embassy’s glorified treasure-seekers has its perks
Komandan Uriah Jacobs recovers ancient artifacts in exchange for more than just decent pay; he also receives guaranteed protection from his former owners, the nyx…until an emergency landing on a too-familiar colony brings him face-to-face with his past life and something more—a surprisingly priceless treasure in the form of a human woman.

A slave to the nyx since childhood
Shadi spends her waking hours in the forge, dreaming of rescuing her brother with the help of a man she once worshipped like a father. A crashed ship on the colony becomes her only hope to escape. But before she can steal the ship, the pilot abducts her. They may be the same species, but will he help her find her Shilah?

Their attraction is undeniable
Fighting it seems inconsequential as they evade the nyx's bounty hunter and uncover a conspiracy that shines unwanted light on Shadi's past and reveals the corruption in Uri’s beloved Embassy, placing their fledgling love in danger.

As the universe systematically falls apart, will Shadi and Uri’s newfound passion be enough to keep them alive?
